The Graduate Diploma and Master of Social Work Programme is a practice-based programme, designed to prepare social workers aspiring to take up leadership positions in the social service sector. The programme aims to equip graduates with clinical social work skills, administration skills and supervision skills to function at management positions in the sector.

Master of Counselling – SUSS

The counselling field has grown in tandem with changes in our society as we respond to the challenges of Singapore's economic growth and development. Singapore University of Social Sciences launched its bachelor degree counselling programme, the first offered by a local university, in 2007.

Master Of Public Health – NUS

As part of its commitment to quality assurance, the Master of Public Health (MPH) programme underwent a programmatic review to design a new curriculum that provides greater integration and alignment of academic components. The revised programme seeks to equip public health professionals to use systems and evidence-based approaches to identify and solve public health problems to improve the health of communities. Students can look forward to the revised curriculum in Academic Year 2017/2018.

Master of Science (Exercise and Sport Studies) – National Institute of Education, NTU

The Master of Science (Exercise and Sport Studies) programme is designed for participants with an interest in physical education, sports, fitness, health and wellness. It is structured to provide a balanced coverage of pedagogy, psychosocial, management and scientific aspects of human movement. It aims to enable professionals to upgrade their qualifications either for career advancement in schools or to qualify them to work in other sport science and management positions.

Modular Certification Courses – Sonography – SIT

Arising from this, there is increased demand for postgraduate education and training with clinical focus in postgraduate sonography. These modular certification courses are available as independent modules, each carrying 6 credits which can be stacked towards qualifications in Postgraduate Certificate and Diploma in sonography.

NUS-ANU Joint M.Sc. in Science Communication

The Joint Master of Science Degree Programme in Science Communication was introduced by The Australian National University (ANU) and National University of Singapore (NUS) in January 2009. Combining the competences of both universities, the programme targets science teachers in primary schools, secondary schools and junior colleges in Singapore, as well as those in areas of education, policy-making and journalism.

Research Degrees: MSc & PhD – NUS Faculty of Science

The research degree provides training in a particular subject area through independent investigation, study and experimental work, culminating in the submission of a thesis on the research undertaken. A supervisor or supervisors will be appointed for each candidate. Students are required to attend appropriate lectures and sit for written examinations.
