The Master’s Experience aims to help you explore different MBA, Masters and CE programmes that can help you to gain new skills and level up your career.
The Master’s Experience (10 Jan – 3rd Mar) is a 14-part series organised by HeadHunt in collaboration with different universities to let you a) experience sample classes and b) ask questions about their programmes and scholarships.
Each Master’s Experience Session will consist of the following:
- Information Session (30 Mins) – Gain a better understanding of the programme structure and admission requirements.
- Experience Class (60 Mins) – Experience a sample class and learn about the latest trending topics related to the programme.
For our Master’s Experience Session on 25th Jan, Mr Christopher Gee from NUS Business School, will be speaking on the topic of Understanding REITs and Looking to the Future.
Understanding REITs and Looking to the Future
Speaker: Mr Christopher Gee
Bio: Lecturer in NUS MSc in Real Estate
Synopsis : Real Estate Investment Trusts (REITs) are today very important vehicles in the real estate capital markets. In the US alone, REITs own more than US$3.5 trillion of gross real estate assets, and in Singapore, REITs represent 12% of the entire stock market capitalisation. This lecture will introduce the REIT sector and cover the essential fundamentals of REITs.
