The SMU MBA emphasises quality over quantity and ensures that your MBA experience with us will be both enriching as well as rewarding. Our professors, industry experts and practitioners selected from about 300 faculty across SMU’s six schools are ready to engage and imbue you with their expert domain knowledge. Complementing the classroom experience are our administrators and Career Services team who are fully committed to assisting you throughout your MBA Programme.
The flexibility of the SMU MBA gives you the option to complete your MBA journey in a 12-month duration for the Full-time Programme or an 18-month duration for the Part-time Programme. This allows you to adjust the Programme to fit your work schedules as a busy professional.
In addition to our active engagement of the business community as recruiters, board members, donors, research partners and guest lecturers, we have also established linkages with more than 2,000 companies, providing an unparalleled connection to the business communities of Singapore and Asia.
Programme Structure
Our Full-time and Part-time students must complete 8 modules that make up our core curriculum.
Additionally, you are required to complete a minimum of 10 electives to complement your core curriculum. You have the liberty to choose your electives based on your interests and knowledge gaps.
Admission Requirements
Applicants to the SMU MBA programme must possess:
- A good Bachelor’s degree in any undergraduate field from a reputable institution
- A minimum post-degree work experience of 2 years
- A good GMAT or GRE score – SMU Admissions Test is accepted for Part-time intake
- Strong interpersonal skills and international outlook, and the ability to work in diverse groups
- Any outstanding professional accomplishments, leadership experience and potential, academic aptitude, and community impact would be an added advantage.
